CNN wanted to broaden their reach in Denmark and Sweden on tv, web and social media. Focusing on the 2012 presidential election we created a campaign that involved 81 volunteers from universities to spread the word.
Facebook became the centerpoint with news and blog posts from national opinion leaders. An elections app tested who of the two presidential nominees opinions you agreed the most with. On Facebook we reached a over 14.000 active users. Finally we held election night parties in Copenhagen and Stockholm.
